Tipu Tipu Restoration and Sustainability is dedicated to publicly sharing data with the public and the global scientific community.

We offer our scientific reports and atmospheric weather data reports on all projects, which are made available to educational organizations, partnerships all over the world, and the general public.

Our goal is to collect data to collaborate and find solutions to the impacts of human development and climate on our watersheds. Tipu Tipu Restoration and Sustainability offers sustainable long-term solutions to keeping our waters free of sediment for healthy oceans, coral reefs and marine life.

Tipu Tipu Restoration and Sustainability has experience installing scientific equipment for NGOs as well as constructing monitoring equipment.  Through years of working in priority watersheds with partners including Skye Instruments, Tipu Tipu has installed weather stations in Honokowai and Wahikuli watersheds. In collaboration with The Nature Conservancy and The Coral Reef Alliance, Tipu Tipu has also installed/maintained/replaced erosion control monitoring equipment in the Kapunakea Reserve and collected data for erosion control best management practices. 

Tipu Tipu has manufactured scientific monitoring equipment such as erosion transects, quadrats, and sediment posts as well as conducting surveys utilizing all of the equipment Tipu Tipu has made.  Tipu Tipu has installed stream monitoring equipment, satellite transmitter stations as well as rain gauges.
